Coming to Osaka The main gateway to Osaka from foreign countries is Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka, Japan’s first round-the-clock airport, which provides direct service to 55 cities in 24 countries and regions (Mar 2008). It is convenient to come to Osaka via KIX, but you can also come to Osaka via Narita International Airport, which is 280 miles away from Osaka. If you arrive at Narita, you can transfer to a domestic flight to Osaka International Airpot (Itami), which takes 1.5 hours. There is no direct flight between Narita and KIX (Mar 2008). If you come to Osaka from Narita by train, it will take about 4 hours. You can find the details of KIX and Narita through the following links: For the access to the conference venue, see here.
