 The
PAKDD conference series has established itself as a prestigious
forum for the exchange of the latest research results in data
mining. Held annually at attractive Pacific-Asia cities, the
conference provides unique opportunities for data mining
researchers, practitioners, developers, and users to explore new
ideas, techniques, and tools, and to exchange experiences. The
previous events were held in Singapore, Melbourne, Beijing, Kyoto,
Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul, Sydney, Hanoi, Singapore and Nanjing!

PAKDD 2008 will be held in Osaka, Japan. Attendees are
expected from all over the world, as is the tradition for PAKDD.
