PAKDD is a leading International conference in the areas of data mining and knowledge discovery. Since 1997, PAKDD has successfully brought together leading researchers and developers from all knowledge discovery and data mining related areas. It provides a premier forum for researchers and industry practitioners to share their new ideas, original research results and practical development experiences. In PAKDD2013, we will continue the tradition of promoting collaboration between academia and industry. During PAKDD2013, we will create a rich program that possibly bridges further the academic-commercial gap in all related areas such as data mining, data warehousing, machine learning, databases, knowledge acquisition, data visualization, knowledge based systems, plus tutorials and workshops organized by leading researchers in the relevant fields, and exhibition of products, companies, and research centres. Sponsorship Opportunities

PAKDD offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities suitable for large as well as small organizations. Sponsors of PAKDD gain visibility for their companies and products, demonstrate their support to knowledge discovery and data mining related research and development, and contribute to the success of the conference. Four levels of sponsorship are available:

• PAKDD Platinum Sponsorship: AU$15,000 +
• PAKDD Gold Sponsorship: AU$7,000 – AU$10,000
• PAKDD Silver Sponsorship: AU$5,000 – AU$6,999
• PAKDD Bronze Sponsorship: AU$2,000 – AU$4,999

Sponsorship Benefits

Sponsors will have the opportunity to reach over 400 Data Mining experts including researchers and industry practitioners from all over the world. In return for your sponsorship, a sponsor at any level will be listed in the conference Program Booklet under different sponsorship levels, and on the conference web site, with an active link to the sponsor’s company Home Page. Moreover, sponsors can have a single sized standing flyer (height <= 1900mm and width <= 900mm, CAN NOT BE STICKED ON THE WALL) displayed at the conference main hall to promote your organization or your products. Conference participants will provide your organization with an opportunity to network with leaders, educators, researchers, government officials and other stakeholders including students and members of professional bodies.

Depending on the level of sponsorship, a sponsor will receive the following additional benefits:

PAKDD Bronze Sponsorship (AU$2,000 – AU$4,999)

• Their name and logo will be published on PAKDD2013 website and in the conference proceedings
• One brochure or document (or free products if they wish) about their company or products can be included in Conference bag for each conference participant.

PAKDD Silver Sponsorship (AU$5,000 – AU$6,999)

• Their name and logo will be published on PAKDD2013 website and in the conference proceedings
• One brochure or document (or free products if they wish) about their company or products can be included in Conference bag for each conference participant.
• Their name and logo will appear in conference promotional material such as Call for Paper
• All sponsor employees who attend the conference will be discounted to member rates for conference registration (non-member rates are at least 25% higher than member rates.)
• Small logo on Conference Bag.

PAKDD Gold Sponsorship (AU$7,000 – AU$9,999)

• Their name and logo will be published on PAKDD2013 website and in the conference proceedings
• One brochure or document (or free products if they wish) about their company or products can be included in Conference bag for each conference participant.
• Their name and logo will appear in conference promotion documents such as Call for Paper
• One complimentary registration; All sponsor employees who attend the conference will be discounted to member rates for conference registration (non-member rates are at least 25% higher than member rates.)
• Large logo on Conference Bag
• One exhibition space for entire conference
• Special presentation opportunity such as a tutorial or data mining school speech
• Can be the sponsor the Best Paper Award or Student Travel Award

PAKDD Platinum Sponsorship (AU$15,000 +)

• Opportunity to have one senior representative to be in the Program Co-chair committee or conference keynote speech
• Their name and logo will be published on PAKDD2013 website and in the conference proceedings
• One brochure or document (or free products if they wish) about their company or products can be included in Conference bag for each conference participant.
• Their name and logo will appear in conference promotion documents such as Call for Paper
• Two complimentary registrations; All sponsor employees who attend the conference will be discounted to member rates for conference registration (non-member rates are at least 25% higher than member rates.)
• Large logo on Conference Bag
• One exhibition space for entire conference
• Special presentation such as a tutorial and/or a winter school speech
• Can organize a major social event at the conference such as a named lunch, breakfast or reception
