(1) Eligible countries for application:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, France, Greece, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands (Holland), New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, U.K. and U.S.A.
(2) Requirements:
*A passport valid for at least six months.
*A confirmed return air (steamer) ticket or an air (steamer) ticket and a visa for the next destination, and a confirmed air (steamer) seat reservation for his (her) departure.
*No criminal record verified by the airport or seaport police.
(3) Duration of Stay:
14 days (no extension is permitted)
(4) Disembarkation ports:
C.K.S. International Airport, Kaohsiung International Airport, Keelung Harbor, Hualien Harbor, Taichung Harbor and Kaohsiung Harbor.

Landing Visa
(1) Eligible countries for application:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands (Holland), New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, U.K. and U.S.A.
(2) Requirements:
*A passport valid for at least six months (unless otherwise stipulated by treaties or agreement).
*A confirmed return air ticket or an air ticket and a visa for the next destination, and a confirmed seat reservation for his (her) departure.
*Fill out an application form with a photo.
*Visa fee NT$1,200 dollars (the countries under the reciprocal agreements shall be issued gratis.) plus a handling fee NT$800; For American: Visa application fee of NT$1,500 plus a handling fee NT$800.
*No criminal record verified by the airport police.
(3) Duration of Stay:
30 days (no extension is permitted)
(4) Disembarkation ports:
C.K.S. International Airport, Kaohsiung International Airport and Hualien Harbor.
(5) Application:
*Passenger entering the Republic of China through C.K.S. International Airport may apply for a landing visa at the Visa Office at C.K.S. International Airport, Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
*Passenger entering the Republic of China through Kaohsiung International Airport may apply for a *temporary entry permit* at the Kaohsiung Station Aviation Police Bureau of Consular Affairs , its Kaohsiung Office or Hualien office within three days, or will be subjected to administrative penalty for overstaying.
