Travel Support

PAKDD has funds available to provide partially financial support to a limited number of current students who are first authors of papers accepted in PAKDD-05.

Students wishing to receive a PAKDD travel support should send an application with the following information:
  1. Summary of research (within 1 page)
  2. Resume
  3. Letter of recommendation from the supervisor
  4. A cover sheet with the following information:

    - Name
    - Institution
    - Address
    - Email
    - Phone number
    - Which year in master course, doctor course or other?
    - Name of advisor
    - ID and title of the paper accepted at PAKDD-05 conference/workshop
    - Financial support from the student's home institution
    - Estimation of total travel costs
All documents should be formatted in plain text or PDF, compressed in a file named by ID paper.

Applications for a travel award must be sent by e-mail before April 25

Winners will be notified on May 5. The winners will receive the awards by cash at PAKDD-05 in Hanoi.
