(skawasa@jaist.ac.jp).


Fees

Regular and students registration include admission to conference, tutorials, workshops,
conference proceedings, coffee breaks, lunches, reception and banquet. The workshop
proceedings and the tutorial notes must be purchased separately. In general, the registration
fees should be paid in Japanese yen. US dollars can only be used at the registration desk in
Hanoi.

Method of Payment

METHOD
  1. Early registration: Only by credit card or bank transfer.

  2. Late registration: By credit card/bank transfer or by cash at the conference site
    in Hanoi.

    In the former, we accept payments by credit card or bank transfer only if the payment
    process can be completed by May 10, 2005. In case the card has some problem to
    complete, the participant will be asked to pay the registration fee by cash at the
    registration desk in Hanoi.

    In the latter, the participant should clearly confirm in the registration form his/her
    payment in cash at the registration desk in Hanoi.

  3. On-site registration: Currency for on-site registration (or late registration by cash)
    at the registration desk in Hanoi is either Japanese Yen or US dollars. We encourage
    participants to send us the registration form in advance so that we could prepare better
    the necessary materials.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Credit Card (Japanese yens only)
    • Only Visa or MasterCard will be accepted.
    • The credit card companies often require for about one week to verify the payment
      by credit card.
  • Bank Transfer (Japanese yens only)
    • Applicants are responsible for all bank transfer charges.
    • Bank transfer procedure on the Japan side must be completed by May 10, and it
      may take one week to complete the bank transfer from a foreign country outside
      Japan.
    • The participants are recommended to pay ASAP since the banks in Japan are closed
      during the Golden Week, which starts from Apr 29 to May 8.

  • On-site registration
    • On-Site Registration will be possible at the registration desk in the
      Conference venue, Melia Hotel, Hanoi, Vietnam, from May 18 to 20, 2005.
    • Only cash will be accepted.
    • Student registrations require proof of enrollment in full-time study.

  • For full-time students, the proof of identity is required.

  • Forms must be faxed before or on 10 April 2005, to qualify for the early registration rates
    (Fax number: 81-761-51-1732).
  • The workshop proceedings and the tutorial notes must be purchased separately
    (Additional banquet tickets, reception tickets, and proceedings can be purchased on-site.)
  • Confirmation letter or email will be mailed within 10 days of registration received via fax.

  • The authors of accepted papers for workshops please contact directly to the corresponding
    workshop organizers for registration information in detail.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Alterations or cancellations of reservations should be addressed to the contact below via
    fax by May 10th.
  • Registration fees will be refunded in full, except for a handling charge of 5,500 JPY, in
    case that cancellation is received by Dr. Kawasaki by May 10th 2005. Thereafter no refund
    will be issued.
